About this Oil:
 
A study for a larger piece, in this small oil painting I wanted to capture the spirit of this cowboy, not just his likeness.  His rugged face has seen years of working outside on the ranch, but his eyes still holds a lightness of emotion, and an appreciate for the life he's built.
